This was done as the cover for Jana Oliver's upcoming "Virtual Evil" book, (Dragon Moon Press). It was done very quickly as the deadline was moved up from "Mayish" to "tomorrow". I work with a wonderful designer, Christina Yoder, and if you look up "Jana Oliver" on Amazon to see the final cover, you will see how Christina added new elements to cover all the weak spots while leaving the good stuff,( like the rats), visible. The reference was a tiny photo of Lawrence Olivier with Greer Garson that was on the web, so I had some idea of bone structure, but there wasn't enough time to find better costume reference. The hands are mine, beefed up some. I think the background would have been much stronger if I had taken the time to model the walls and arch in 3d, and then painted over that, but as it was we met deadline:-) The frax was made in Painter7 with the KPT frax plug-in.
